- Fishing has been very productive the last few weeks in mosquito lagoon and Indian river lagoon. Big schools of black drum have been schooling up on the flats in pods of 50 to 100. My go-to bait has been a doa shrimp in a natural color or a white paddle tail rigged weedless.The redfish have also been around in numbers as well, singles on the shorelines and pods schooled up in the afternoon.
